THE WOMAN – MARJORIE
Behind the many expressions of ministry is the woman, her honey, Pastor Clem says is ‘once, twice, three times a lady’. The lady whose captivating beauty and eye balls stole his heart. Hardworking, resilient and a go getter, she has had and overcome her fair share of life’s challenges but you can never tell as she has a smile on her face and word of wisdom to share. ‘I wonder how she does it’ one of her children says ‘because she does it in style, whilst you are trying to keep up with her and find out what country/ continent/ convention / event she is at, the next minute she is sending out the most hilarious jokes’. Professionally, she is resourceful, detailed and is a fount of knowledge and wisdom. She builds and keeps relationships across a wide spectrum of demographics, culture, age and background. It is incredible how she becomes a fast friend but fiercely loyal, she loves hard and passionately and so she keeps a close circle. She loves life, people, her husband and her God!
We use this opportunity to say thank you Pastor Marjorie for the many active years of service to the Church of God and the wider society feeding the hungry, sending children back to school, tirelessly travelling city to city ministering the gospel, supporting the widows in business set up, medical missions, almost endless prayer days and nights, mentoring and coaching women and families, for doing the menial jobs in Church that no one sees but God.
We wish you many active years of Service for Jesus Christ of Nazareth and His Kingdom.

CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION
Reverend Onengiye Marjorie Esomowei was born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, on 20th August, 1961to Chief O W Amachree and Madam Comfort Kemmer of Rivers and Bayelsa States of Nigeria respectively.
Being the daughter of an educationist, education was paramount. Pastor Marjorie schooled at Township School and Baptist Day School, Port Harcourt, Nigeria for Primary education and Archdeacon Crowther Memorial Girls School, Elelenwo, Nigeria for secondary school, from where she moved to Federal School of Arts and Science, Sokoto, Nigeria for her A Levels
At home and at these schools, the foundation of Pastor Marjorie’s Christian faith was formed. Pastor Marj as we all know is an ardent learner and continues to bag several qualifications including a B Sc in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria.
She is an Alumni of the Institute of Management Development , Lausanne, Switzerland and an Alunmi of the Said Business School, University of Oxford.
CAREER HISTORY
After a Banking career in retail and investment banking spanning over a decade at African Continental Bank, Lagos, First African Trust Bank, Lagos Nigeria, Devcom Merchant Bank, Lagos and Nigerian Intercontinental Merchant Bank. Pastor Marjorie graciously resigned from Banking as the General Manager, Intercontinental Securities from where she moved on to join her husband Pastor Clem Esomowei in Full Time Church Ministry in 1995.
Today, Pastor Marjorie is the Founding Director of Comfort Homes Orphanage, Nigeria, Founder of the Wise Women Awards and the Founding Director of the Wisdom For Women International CIC . a social enterprise that is committed to equipping, inspiring, training, mentoring, coaching of women and families to reach their full potentials.
Recently completing a course with the Said Business School, Oxford University, Pastor Marjorie is much more poised to give back to women and families through her iLead, iChange and iInfluence Mentoring Programmes.

PERSONAL LIFE AND FAMILY
In June 1984 Pastor Marjorie accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour committing herself totally to the perfect will of God. In 1994, she received a specific call to Pastoral ministry and ministry to women.
In 1985, she met the husband of her youth, Pastor Clem Esomowei and in 1986, February 15th, a day after Valentine’s day, she married the love of her life. It has been 35 years of God’s faithfulness. They both moved to the United Kingdom for the service of the Lord in 1995 and together, they continue to serve Christ the King as they Pastor and Mentor many spiritual children across the Nations. Today, Pastors Clem and Marjorie both live in Essex from where they lead a thriving Congregation in London, England, Triumphant Church International, with branches in Durban South Africa, Port Harcourt Nigeria, Birmingham England, Basildon England plus many outreaches across the Nations.
Pastor Marjorie is a confidant and mother to many, a Life coach, Leadership mentor, Life Strategist and a Keynote Speaker at Local and International Conferences. She takes delight and joy in helping many to fulfil their life potential in Christ.
Pastor Marj loves travelling, helping people. She loves to Pray and is known to spend hours unending daily in Prayers and Worship. If you are looking for someone who is passionate about life and the gospel, someone who is determined in the pursuit of destiny, then you got Pastor Marjorie!
What’s her favourite scripture! That’s a hard one to touch. There are so many favourites but let us take one
2 Corinthians 1: 4 “and the one who so wonderfully comforts and strengthens us in our hardships and trials. And why does he do this? So that when others are troubled, needing our sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them this same help and comfort God has given us.”
MINISTRY AND OUTREACH
Ministry to Reverend Marjorie Esomowei means serving the Lord and His people in purity of heart, passion and with total surrender. She is an embodiment of total surrender to the King and His Kingdom.
Pastor Marjorie started Ministry as a Children’s teacher in 1985. Serving in this Ministry for a decade, she had hundreds of children pass through her class most of whom today are serving in Church and in the wider society as very successful Christian Leaders. Aunty Marjorie’s children love and honour her, and remember her fondly as that Aunty who revolutionalized children’s ministry to a fun, learning divine experience and with a ‘roll of her eyes’ would pass messages to her children.
It was always obvious that Pastor Marjorie had a great calling of God upon her life and no one was surprised when In 1995, Reverend Marjorie let go of a very successful Investment Banking career to join Pastor Clem for full time Ministry in Service of the King and His Kingdom, where they both started their pastoral ministry in another denomination from 1995 until 1999.
To God’s glory in 1999, Pastor Marjorie in partnership with her husband co- founded Triumphant Church International, following which Wisdom For Women International, the cutting edge women’s ministry was born. Today the Wisdom for Women International is physically serving Women and Families in Europe, North America, United Kingdom and Africa through its many ministries and outreaches viz; Singles Retreat, Widows in Need, Back to School Project, Wise Women Pray, Wise Women Awards, iLead iChange, iInfluence Leadership Academy, Power Base Prophetic Intercessors Platform and the Comfort Homes Orphanage. In recent times, her online ministry has well spread to the Islands, Asia, the Middle East and Australia
Reverend Marjorie operates in her Apostolic calling as a profound teacher, a prophetic intercessor with proven testimonies abounding through her ministry. Pastor Marj is a very dynamic, proactive, ingenious and resourceful woman. A natural leader whose abilities have been enhanced with over 35 years of being in leadership both in the Ministry and the market place. Pastor Marjorie is well known, in the Christian and Charitable community of United Kingdom, Europe and Africa. She is a sought after International conference speaker.
When asked “ How did you get this far” she says “ Intimacy with the Holy Spirit, the friendship, prayers, guidance and support of my husband Pastor Clem. Also, I am a student of great mentors and spiritual parents who have consistently guided me to pray and pray and pray plus many, many friends, partners, associates, mentees and spiritual children that God has planted in my life.
Pastor Marj as she is very fondly called has since the early eighties served with distinction in numerous leadership capacities. She has a unique style of strong leadership blended with caring competence and a very large heart. She is known to be at ease with the very powerful and the most humble.
Recently listed on the Keep the Faith magazine hall of 20 Most Influential Black Christian Women in Great Britain and recognised as a community champion by the African Women in Europe awards, Pastor Marjorie continues to pursue her God given goals of serving her generation.
Pastor Marjorie is a recipient of several awards and has made appearances on BBC, ITV, and many Christian TV, Radio channels and Print media.
She is a loyal friend, mother, pastor, mentor and confidant to many and she has so readily and willingly given so much of herself through her ministry, prayers, service, giving and love. Pastor Marjorie, is an author of several books and study manuals.
